Enclosed is your 2021 plan brochure for the Panama Canal Area Benefit Plan (PCABP). This plan brochure describes the benefits of the PCABP Program beginning on January 1, 2021.
Please read your entire plan brochure very carefully and hopefully most of the questions you have about your coverage will be answered.
Below are the highlights of the 2021 benefit changes:

There is no cost sharing for POS members and for enrollees who reside in the United States under FFS US option. See Section 5(a) under Preventive Care, adult.

• We have updated Section 5(b) Organ/Tissue Transplants to expand coverage of Allogeneic and Autologous transplants for Hodgkin/Non Hodgkin lymphomas to all transplant for lymphomas no matter the stage. The Plan has also expanded coverage of acute lymphocytic or or non-lymphocytic (i.e., myelogenous) leukemia to autologous transplants. See pages 44 and 45.

Clarifications

• We have clarified under Section 5(a) Durable Medical Equipment, that covered items that satisfy the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) definition underlined in this section is not limited to those listed. We also added some additional common examples of covered items like Colostomy bags and related supplies as well as orthopedic and prosthetic devices as described under Section 5(a). All DME require preauthorization. See page 35.
